ST. LOUIS — Stray Rescue of St. Louis is offering a $5,000 reward for information in the torture deaths of five dogs.

KMOV-TV reports the dogs were found Tuesday in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of the city. A dead dog was found hanging out of a second story window of a house covered in gang graffiti. Four other dead dogs were found inside.

Authorities say one dog was burned. Another had been choked to death by a cable cord.
