Missouri softball team will play LSU in NCAA super regionals this weekend

Missouri softball has made winning the Columbia regional a routine occurrence, beating the Illinois State Redbirds 2-1 on Sunday at University Field to claim its fourth straight. The Tigers also won the regional the year before, although not in Columbia.

COLUMBIA — The No. 9 ranked Missouri Tigers softball team will take on future Southeastern Conference rival the LSU Tigers this weekend in the NCAA super regionals. 

According to, all games will take place at University Field.

  • Game one: 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
  • Game two: 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
  • Game three: 5 p.m. Sunday (if needed).

 This weekend's games will be aired on ESPNU.

Missouri beat Illinois State 2-1 on Sunday to win the Columbia regional and advance to the super regionals.
