Monday, May 21, 2012 | 12:07 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Tenth Street will be closed from Elm to Locust streets through 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Traffic has been redirected from Tenth Street; traffic on Elm Street will not be affected.

During the closure, Columbia Water and Light crews will run a new underground electric line for the apartment complex at 308 S. Ninth St. There should be no disruption of electric service as they work. The work started Monday morning.
