Rock Bridge tennis advances to state championship

Bruins will face Rockhurst Thursday afternoon

COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge High School boys tennis team advanced to the state championship after defeating Eureka, 5-0 in the state semifinals.

The Bruins (23-0) will play Rockhurst High School (11-1) from Kansas City,  at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Class 2 state championship match. Rockhurst beat Parkway Central High School in its semifinal match, also 5-0. Rock Bridge won the state championship the last two years.
