COLUMBIA — Ruth A. Williamson of Macon, died Saturday, May 26, 2012. She was 86.
Mrs. Williamson was born July 19, 1925, in Ashland to Edward P. and Ara Etta (Nichols) Burnett.
She married Emerson Lee Williamson in Columbia on Feb. 7, 1942.
In Columbia, Mrs. Williamson was a member of Grace Bible Church. She liked to crochet and was also a skilled seamstress.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by two sons, Ronald Lee Williamson and wife, Anne, of Warner Robins, Ga., and Harry Duane Williamson and wife, Glenda, of Sherman, Texas; two daughters, Claudia Jean Canole and husband, Dean, of Columbia, and Drucilla Fay Wells and husband, Larry, of Sturgeon; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Emerson Williamson; five brothers; and three sisters died earlier.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1217 Business Loop 70 W.
