Ruth Williamson, July 19, 1925 — May 26, 2012, of Macon

Ruth A. Williamson, 86, of Macon, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012.

She was born on July 19, 1925, in Ashland, Mo., to Edward P. and Ara Etta (Nichols) Burnett. She married Emerson Lee Williamson on Feb. 7, 1942, in Columbia, Mo., and he preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ruth was a member of Grace Bible Church. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ruth is survived by her children: Ronald Lee Williamson and wife, Anne, of Warner Robins, Ga.; Harry Duane Williamson and wife, Glenda, of Sherman, Texas; Claudia Jean Canole and husband, Dean, of Columbia, Mo.; and Drucilla Fay Wells and husband, Larry, of Sturgeon, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband, Ruth was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters, one grandson and her parents.
