Tuesday, May 29, 2012 | 5:23 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Richard and Beth Trimmell have been appointed regional coordinators and directors of special services for the Salvation Army in Columbia and Jefferson City.

They follow K. Kendall and Katrina Mathews, who start their assignments for the organization in St. Louis on June 27.

The Trimmells will move to Columbia from Chicago.  There, Richard Trimmell was the assistant principal at the Salvation Army College of Officer Training, and his wife, Beth, worked as the family care center director for the college.
