Kristen Smarr's husband, Rusty, owns Smarr Custom Homes, and their model home, Home of Possibilities, serves as a venue for fundraisers like this one.
On Saturday, May 19, six bakers competed in the 2012 Battle of the Bakers. The event, held at Smarr Custom Homes Home of Possibilities, was a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri.
Bakers displayed their best baked treats while ticket holders sampled and voted with dollars for their favorite. A panel of celebrity judges judged the bakers' submissions as well. Ultimately, both a People's Choice and Champion award were presented.
