Virginia “Ginny” Lee Starks, 67, of Columbia, MO, passed away May 29, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at home.
Ginny was born on January 10, 1945, in Boone County, MO to Ruth (McBaine) Harris. She was a longtime resident of Columbia, and a graduate of Hickman High School. She married Stan Starks in Columbia on March 27, 1971, and he survives. Ginny enjoyed quilting, golf, Bunko, and sharing hospitality with her family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation the evening prior, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
In addition to her loving husband, Ginny is survived by her sons: Gary Vaught, Jason Starks (Heather) both of Columbia, MO and Ronald “Dino” Vaught of St. Louis, MO; her sister: Donna Barnhart (Rodney) of Columbia, MO; 3 grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Harris.
