Missouri softball players Thomas, Fleming named All-Americans

Missouri softball players Chelsea Thomas and Ashley Fleming were named All-Americans by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Wednesday.

Thomas, a redshirt junior, was named a First Team All-American for the second year in a row. She also was named Big 12 Pitcher of the Year for the second consecutive year after finishing the season with a 27-9 record.

Fleming will leave Missouri after being named a Second Team All-American for the second year in a row. The senior led the team with a .365 batting average this season with team highs of 16 home runs and 51 RBIs.
