Golfers in Francis Hagan tournament finish first weekend of play

COLUMBIA — The 2012 Francis Hagan Match Play golf tournament kicked off last weekend at Lake of the Woods Golf Course.

Seventy-four golfers entered the championship flight and 21 entered the senior flight.

The tournament began Saturday with an 18-hole qualifying round. Match play started Sunday and will end this weekend.

The results from the first weekend of competition are listed below. If the winner was one up, they won one more hole than their opponent. If the winner was up three holes with two holes to go, then their score is listed as 3 and 2.
