GetAbout Columbia to hold funding meeting Wednesday evening

COLUMBIA — GetAbout Columbia will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday to discuss funding for the second round of planned walking and biking infrastructure around town.

The meeting will be held at the Activity and Recreation Center and is open to the public. A list of approved and proposed projects that fall under the second and final round is available at the GetAbout website

GetAbout Columbia aims to increase biking and walking in Columbia by building infrastructure and raising awareness for alternative forms of transportation.  The infrastructure plan includes bike lanes, pedestrian and bike trails, sidewalks and bridges that connect throughout the city.
