COLUMBIA — A Fulton man died after being ejected from his car in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday night on northbound U.S. 63.

Robert Hill, 43, was a tenth of a mile north of Breedlove Drive when his 1998 Jeep Cherokee hit the rear of a tractor-trailer. His car overturned, and he was ejected from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at University Hospital at 12:24 a.m. Wednesday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time.

The tractor-trailer driver, Jeremy Bogle, 32, reported no injuries and drove his vehicle from the scene.

This is the eighth fatal car crash in June and 35th in 2012 for Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F, which patrols the area.
