Ann Everett Ford loved her family, friends

Ann (Everett) Ford, 76, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center.

Ms. Ford, who was born Dec. 8, 1935, in Evanston, Ill., to John and Joy Everett, loved her family, friends and community.

She was a charter member of the Ruth Circle of the King's Daughters and Sons and remained an active member of the circle for more than 45 years. She was also active in Dental Aid, the Voluntary Action Center, Meals on Wheels and Welcome Wagon. Ms. Ford was a proud graduate of Roycemore School for Girls in Evanston, Ill., Stephens College and MU.

Ms. Ford enjoyed playing bridge, sunbathing, cooking and dispensing advice to all who sought her counsel.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Robertson of Kansas City, Carol Gschwend and her husband, Craig, of Little Rock, Ark., and Elizabeth Wilson and her husband, Jon, of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Olivia and Alexis Robertson, Abby, Betsy and Caroline Gschwend and Riley, Lindy and Ben Wilson; and great-grandson Kelsey Brown Jr.

Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, with the Rev. Judy Davis of Winfield, Ill., officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the funeral home. Friends are encouraged to share their memories of Ms. Ford while drinking Pepsi and eating chocolate.
