MARBLE HILL — Republican gubernatorial candidate Dave Spence says he has completed a goal of visiting all 114 Missouri counties and the city of St. Louis as part of his campaign.
Spence said he held campaign events Wednesday in Washington, Madison and Bollinger counties to round out the list. It took him about seven months to travel to all the counties.
Spence stepped down as CEO of Alpha Packaging last fall to enter the governor's race. He's one of several Republicans competing in an Aug. 7 primary to challenge Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon.
