UPDATE: Police find missing Columbia teen unharmed

COLUMBIA — The Columbia Police Department located 14-year-old Kaitlyne Parrish walking alone near Oakland Gravel Road Sunday morning.

Parrish had been missing since Saturday morning when she was last seen by a family member at 4:30 a.m. Police responded to a report of a runaway teen at Parrish's house at 5:13 a.m. Saturday.

Police continued searching until Sunday morning, when the department received a report at 10:33 a.m. from a callerclaiming to have seen Parrish walking near Oakland Gravel and Brown School roads. When an officer found Parrish at 10:44 a.m., she was not injured, according to a news release from police.

Police said an investigation is ongoing into her previous whereabouts since she was reported missing.
