COLUMBIA — Two suspects were arrested in connection with a recent home invasion and robbery that occurred Sunday.

Joshua J. Wisham, 19, was arrested Tuesday evening after a short pursuit by a K-9 unit, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department. Wisham is being held in the Boone County Jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery with a bond of $40,000.

Neal W. Henry, 33, was arrested Wednesday morning and is being held in the county jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery in connection with the incident. His bond was not set as of noon Wednesday.

The robbery in question occurred at an apartment in the 1000 block of North Kathryn Street in Phenora Oaks. Deputies were alerted to the incident when a citizen reported a disturbance in a nearby apartment. When deputies arrived, the victims, a man, 31, and a woman, 35, said three men entered their home demanding money and drugs. The suspects fled with two cellphones and some cash when deputies arrived.

Detectives found a loaded semi-automatic pistol at the scene.

The first suspect, Felson D. Barney, is already in custody and is being held without bond at the county jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and parole violation.
