Frank L. Wegner of Columbia, April 23, 1943 — June 30, 2012

Frank L. Wegner, 69, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012, at South Hampton Place.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012, at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Parker Funeral Service.

Frank was born April 21, 1943, in Oconomowoc, WI, to Edwin Frank and Grace Millbroth Wegner. He married Sharon Wall in March 1967 and she preceded him in death on October 31, 2009.

He served with the U.S. Army as a Sergeant for 10 years.

Frank worked for the Columbia Daily Tribune, City of Columbia as a bus driver and retired from OATS.

Survivors include: his mother, Grace Millbroth of Sullivan, WI; two daughters, Charlotte Eaves and husband Shawn of Columbia and Cheryl Hopson and husband Kevin of Columbia; four brothers, Larry Wegner of Tampa, FL, Gene Wegner of Elk Grove, CA, Donald Wegner of Galt, CA and David Wegner of Paducah, KY; five sisters, Susan Wegner of Reno, NV, Dawn Raquino of Lovi, CA, Vicky Millbroth of Sullivan, WI, Denise Meyer of Columbia, MO and Linda Salinas of Columbia, MO; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, brothers, James Wegner, Dennis Wegner and Darrel Millbroth.
