Herbert Williams, Sept. 17, 1937 — June 25, 2012

Herbert Williams, 74, of Columbia, answered the call of Jesus on Monday, June 25, 2012, at University of Missouri Hospital.

Herbert Williams was born September 17, 1937, in Keytesville, Mo., the son of Herbert D. Williams and Mary Frances Guthrie.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lula Williams, two sons Terence Williams and Nicholas Williams, two daughters Debra Johnson and Nicole McGonigal, two brothers Timothy Guthrie and Alan Guthrie, three sisters Naomi Binion, Rosemary Guthrie and Janice Guthrie, 7 granchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, July 2, 2012, at Second Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11-1 Monday at the church.
