July 10, 2012 | 10:00 a.m. CDT
Photographer Greg Arendall photographed this bridge on a foggy morning in Boonville.

Greg Arendall is a photographer with a studio located in New Franklin. Recently, Greg contributed these photos from a shoot at Diana Bend Conservation Area.

One of the quotes I like is "all the world's a stage." In the realm of photography this is so true. An object or landscape can remain unchanged for decades but how we see that object changes daily, sometimes hourly, under the influence of light and weather conditions.

I started at a historical cemetery overlooking the Missouri River and ended in the Boonville River along its bank. Without traffic I was able to see streets stark in their absence of movement. The fog itself added an eerie film noir flavor to the morning's atmosphere.
