Woman dies in fire in southwest Missouri

CARL JUNCTION — A southwest Missouri woman died in a fire at her rural Jasper County home.
Carl Junction Fire Chief Bill Dunn says the body of Kristi Stockam, who was in her 50s, was discovered inside her home Monday.
Dunn says the front of the home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
