Former Missouri golfer, Hickman grad wins Missouri Open

COLUMBIA — Former MU golfer and Hickman High School graduate Nick Wilson won the Missouri Open on Saturday.

At The Club at Old Hawthorne, Wilson shot 64 on Thursday, 72 on Friday and 71 on Saturday. He finished nine under par, beating the closest professional by three shots.

Wilson ended the weekend with one eagle on a par-5 and 14 birdies.

Matt VanCleave of Gilbert, Ariz., Daniel Obremski of Irwin, Pa., and Jason Schultz of Allen, Texas, all tied for second place.
