GLENDALE, Mo. — A St. Louis Area Major Case Squad investigator says no suicide note was found at the Glendale home where a woman and her two children were killed.

Mitchell Murch II called police Monday to say his 42-year-old wife, Catherine, had killed the couple's two children, then herself.

Private funeral services for Catherine Murch, 10-year-old Mitchell Murch III and 8-year-old Mary Claire Murch are Saturday at Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis.

Lt. Tim Fagan told KMOX Radio that contrary to rumors, no suicide note was found. Fagan says more interviews and crime lab tests are pending before the investigation is complete.

Glendale is a wealthy suburb about 10 miles west of St. Louis.
