LETTER TO THE EDITOR: John Davis urges Republicans to vote for him

I am running for Columbia Third Ward Republican Committeeman, and I am asking that all good and true Republicans in the Third Ward vote for me on Tuesday.

The main function of the committeeman is to work for the election of his party's candidates. I believe that by electing Republicans that we can create a climate that is friendly to the owners of small businesses. Since small businesses in America create most of our jobs, they are essential to restoring economic prosperity.

Again, I ask for the residents of the Third Ward to vote for me on Aug. 7.

John Davis is a Columbia resident and candidate for Third Ward Republican Committeeman.
