COLUMBIA – Columbia Police are investigating a Thursday-night home invasion on Greeley Drive.

Two suspects armed with a gun forced their way into the house by breaking down the front door at 3703 Greeley Drive, according to Columbia Police Department Public Information Officer Latisha Stroer. They demanded money and property from the victims and threatened to shoot them if they did not comply.

Two adults and two children under the age of three were at the house during the robbery.

Officers were dispatched at 10:07 p.m. to the address, right after the suspects had left the home, Stroer said. The two suspects had fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and jewelry.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The K-9 unit was called to the scene to track the two suspects, but nothing was found. The investigation was ongoing as of 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Both suspects are described as stocky males, standing between 6 feet and 6 feet 4 inches tall. They were wearing black clothing and gloves during the robbery.
