Missouri men's basketball SEC TV schedule released

COLUMBIA — The Southeastern Conference announced Friday that Missouri men's basketball will play 13 nationally televised games in league play this season – a record number for Mizzou.

The SEC also released its full league television schedule Friday.

The Tigers will play their first SEC game at home against the University of Alabama on Jan. 8 on ESPN at 6 p.m. Overall, Missouri has 11 games appearing on the ESPN family of networks. The team also has nationally-televised games at Ole Miss on Fox Sports Net and against Ole Miss at home on CBS Sports. Remaining games will be televised by the SEC Network. 

The Tigers will play Kentucky on the road Feb. 23 on ESPN at 8 p.m.

The new school record surpasses the previous mark of 11 national TV league games, which was set last season.

Feb. 9: Ole Miss at Mizzou Arena, noon, CBS Sports 

Feb. 13: Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss., 7 p.m., SEC Network 

Feb. 16: Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., 3 p.m., ESPN/ESPN2

Feb. 19: Florida at Mizzou Arena, 8 p.m., ESPN 

Feb. 23: Kentucky in Lexington, Ky., 8 p.m., ESPN (GameDay) 

Feb. 28: South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., 8 p.m., ESPN/ESPN2

March 2: LSU at Mizzou Arena, 3 p.m., SEC Network 

March 5: Arkansas at Mizzou Arena, 6 p.m., ESPN 

March 9: Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., 3 p.m., ESPN/ESPN2
