Boone County deputies arrest Pennsylvania man with outstanding warrants

COLUMBIA — Boone County deputies arrested a man with outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania and Illinois on Saturday evening.

Joseph M. Fetko, 39, of Chester, Pa., was taken into custody shortly after 5 p.m. while driving a blue 1997 Ford F-150 on U.S. 63 and Golden Bear Drive. The truck was reported stolen in Bountiful, Utah, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department. 

He is being held in the Boone County Jail on suspicion of first-degree tampering with a bond of $4,500.

Fetko has a warrant issued for his arrest in Pennsylvania on suspicion of parole violation related to an aggravated assault, and another warrant for his arrest issued in Madison County, Ill., on suspicion of possession of stolen property, according to the news release.
