Hickman football starts season strong with win

The Hickman football team traveled to Lee's Summit North and took down the Broncos 40-20 Friday night.

Junior running back Justise Keith set the tone for the Kewpies, scoring on the first play from scrimmage. Hickman also got a touchdown from junior running back from Bohannon Davidson. Junior quarterback Mason Murray turned in a strong performance in his first career start.

The Kewpies will return home to take on Holt High School at 7 p.m. Aug. 31. Hickman beat Holt 30-7 last season.
