I love technology – until I don’t.

The Missourian’s new business model and suite of digital apps was all ready to fly. Then an O-ring broke. Or a heat shield fell. Or …

So much for the technical explanation. Here’s what I know: One system won’t talk with another system, causing potential members to be kicked off before they can sign up. The Missourian’s technology people are talking to one key person five time zones away and another in India.

The bottom line: The old system is still in place, the new one is still on the launch pad, and worried Missourian staff members are checking the metaphorical weather for a Tuesday takeoff.
