TELL US: What do you wish people understood about doing your job?

Labor Day was first celebrated in 1882 as the “workingmen’s holiday,” and it serves as a way to honor the contributions that workers have added to America.

Throughout the history of Labor Day, workers have seen it as a chance to celebrate their accomplishments but also as an opportunity to air their grievances and advocate for better working conditions.
