Two set to join Columbia College Athletic Hall of Fame

COLUMBIA — Columbia College alumni Kory Thoma and Cindy Fotti will be inducted in to the Columbia College Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 5 at the 10th annual dinner and induction ceremony in Delany Hall.

Kory Thoma, a 1997 graduate, will be honored for his accomplishments on the basketball court. Thoma was named a NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete, receiving the Thomas Roberts Award, winning the Athletic Director’s Award and being named Male Athlete of the Year.

Cindy Fotti, a 2005 graduate will be recognized for her contributions a captain of the Columbia College softball team. During her two years as a member of the team, Fotti was named an All-America Scholar Athlete and also made the All-Region and National Tournament All-Tournament teams.

Columbia College President, Gerald T. Brouder and Director of Athletics, Bob Burchard at set to speak at the induction ceremony.
