Henning earns Missouri volleyball team's first SEC honor

COLUMBIA — Missouri volleyball player Lisa Henning has been named SEC Player of the Week, giving the program its first SEC honor.
Henning, an American Volleyball Coaches Association Junior All-American, helped Missouri gain a 3-0 record in the Lipscomb Invitational Tournament last weekend in Nashville, Tenn., where she led the team in blocks with 1.22 per set. She also led the Tigers with six aces and was second on the team with 29 digs.
The Missouri volleyball team will play next at the Morehead State Eagle Challenge this weekend in Morehead, Ky.
