COLUMBIA – Senior Sydney Washington had two three-run home runs and Molly Carter added a two-run home run in the Hickman softball team's 8-4 victory over Kirksville on Tuesday at Cosmopolitan Park.

Pitcher Shannon Greene, who battled the heat all game, got the victory for the Kewpies. Greene persevered through a couple of errors and multiple base runners, but was able to secure the win for Hickman.

The Kewpies (7-2) play next at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hallsville.
