Columbia College volleyball team falls to No. 1 Texas-Brownsville

The Columbia College volleyball team lost its first match of the season Saturday morning, falling 25-22, 28-26, 25-18 to No. 1 Texas-Brownsville at the Lee University Showcase in Cleveland, Tenn.

The No. 3 ranked Cougars are now 6-1.

The Cougars will play their home opener and first conference game of the season at 7 p.m. Monday against Hannibal-LaGrange University.

In early tournament play Friday, Columbia College beat Indiana Tech 25-21, 25-13, 25-16 and host Lee University 28-26, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18.
