Section of Gordon Street to close temporarily Wednesday

COLUMBIA — A portion of Gordon Street will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday near the street's intersection with Old 63.

The temporary close is because of the moving of a section of an electric service line underground, according to a Columbia Water and Light news release.

A detour will guide motorists around the project area, and traffic on Old 63 will not be affected.

Supervising editor is Emilie Stigliani.
