Junior goalkeeper Erica Ramirez was named American Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week, while sophomore midfielder Amanda Caldwell was named AMC Offensive Player of the Week.

Ramirez started in goal for Columbia College's 11-1 victory against Benedictine University on Sept. 5. She also played the first half of the team's 2-0 win versus Mount Mercy in the Cougars' home opener Sept. 8, combining with junior Amber Petty for the shutout.

Caldwell scored three goals this week, two against Benedictine and one against Mount Mercy. Her three goals lead Columbia College.
