Wednesday, September 12, 2012 | 3:45 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Two men broke into an apartment on the 2400 block of Pimlico Court  at about 11:38 p.m. Tuesday and stole electronics.

The men knocked on the door of the apartment and forced their way in, according to a Columbia police report. One of them had a handgun and covered his face with a shirt, while the other did not hide his face and was unarmed, the report said.

No one was injured during the robbery, but two of the three residents who were home at the time were forced to the floor with the gun.

The intruders left the apartment through the back door with the stolen electronics, the report said.

The police were called after the invasion, and the investigation is ongoing.
