James B. Terrian, Dec. 16, 1921 โ€” Sept. 11, 2012, of Ashland

ASHLAND — James B. Terrian, 90, of Ashland died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Ashland Villa following a brief illness.

Services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10 and the funeral service to follow at 11. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

James was born on December 16, 1921, in Boone County to Elmer J. and Hallie Baumgartner Terrian. He graduated from Hickman High School in 1940 and the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1949.

James retired from ABF Trucking, working in Chicago most of his adult life. James moved back to Columbia upon retirement. James loved to travel, reading books, playing bridge and following Cardinal Baseball.

James is survived by his sister, Gloria List of Winter Haven FL; nieces, Judy (Perry) Bridgemen of Lake Wales, FL, and Terri (Steve) Breedlove, of Columbia, and several great nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
