COLUMBIA — Missouri fans and former players tweeted before, during and after the football team's 31-10 loss at South Carolina on Saturday. Few people expected a victory, but most were hopeful for a close game.

Reactions included disgust at the team's performance during the game, hope that success will eventually find the Tigers in the Southeastern Conference and an always-present comparison to Kansas.
