Hickman softball shuts out Holt, 10-0

The Hickman softball team shut out Wentzville-Holt 10-0 on Tuesday.

The Kewpies, who were celebrating senior night, got a stellar performance from sophomore pitcher Shannon Greene, who allowed only one hit in the game while striking out nine Holt batters.

Senior Sydney Washington chipped in at the plate, going 3-for-5, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Junior Allie Dishinger also drove in three runs, including a home run.

In total, Hickman tallied 10 hits in the game, improving its record to 14-7.

Hickman's next game is against New Franklin at 5 p.m. Thursday at Cosmopolitan Park.
