Thursday, September 27, 2012 | 6:22 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Tiger Pantry is hosting a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in collaboration with Pepe’s, a Mexican food truck, in the north parking lot behind the MU Student Center.

Ten percent of each ticket will go directly to Tiger Pantry — a food pantry serving the MU community — to buy food and pay bills, pantry founder Nick Droege said.

The pantry opens Tuesday and is located at 1400 Rock Quarry Road.

Tiger Pantry will be open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.

Supervising editor is Katherine Reed.
