ATHENS, Ga.— The Missouri women's soccer team defeated Georgia 2-1 on Friday night. Missouri's Abi Raymer scored the game's first goal in the 19th minute. Georgia tied the game shortly before halftime. Alyssa Diggs scored what ended up being the game-wining goal on a 16-yard strike right after the start of the second half. McKenzie Sauerwine was in goal for the Tigers, and she made seven saves. The win gave Missouri a 10-1 record this season and a 5-0 record versus Southeastern Conference opponents. The Tigers' next game is at noon Sunday at Tennessee.
