Missouri cross country men finish fourth at Greater Louisville Classic

COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's cross country team finished fourth and the women's team finished 16th in the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday in Louisville, Ky.

The Missouri men finished fourth in the 8K race behind Iona, Columbia, and Georgia. Thirty-one teams competed in the men's race. Missouri senior Max Storms was fastest Tiger of the day, finishing the race in 24:09.72. Storms finished 16th overall.

The Missouri women were 16th in the team standings, led by senior Bailey Belvis. Her time of 17:20.59 was good for 27th overall. The women's race also included 31 teams.

The next race for both the men and the women will be the Gary Stoner Invitational on Oct. 6 in Fayette.
