CLAYTON — St. Louis County police are concerned that a serial rapist may be on the loose.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that detectives have forensically linked the rapes of two young women to the same man.

St. Louis County Police Chief Tim Fitch said the man might be targeting Southeast Asian women because one of the victims is of Chinese descent, the other Korean.

The crimes happened more than a year apart. The first was in April 2011 and the second last month.
