Deputies searching for Knox Drive home invaders

COLUMBIA — Boone County Sheriff's Department deputies are searching for two men in connection with a home invasion on Knox Drive.

At 9:48 a.m. Thursday, two males forced entry into a house in the 4800 block of Knox Drive, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.

The suspects brandished a handgun and demanded money from the residents. They fled the scene on foot and were later seen leaving the area in a black passenger car, according to the release.

No one was injured during the invasion.
