COLUMBIA — Gibbs Road between I-70 Drive and the Columbia city limits will be closed from Monday through Nov. 9.

According to a Boone County Resource Management news release, the closure is due to a road improvement project, which is expected to take four weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes and should expect delays. Local traffic will be permitted to pass through the work zone.

Supervising editor is Emilie Stigliani.
