TELL US: Will higher cigarette costs motivate people to stop smoking?

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story included an incorrect amount for the proposed increased cigarette tax.

Missouri, which has the lowest tobacco tax and fourth-highest adult smoking rate in the country, is proposing an increase in the tax on cigarette packs to 90* cents from 17 cents.
