COLUMBIA — CBS Sports named Missouri men's basketball junior Phil Pressey a preseason first team All-American on Monday. A finalist for the 2012 Bob Cousy Award, Pressey, a junior, helped lead the Tigers to a 30-5 record last season and had a school record 223 assists over 35 games.

"He is the consummate point guard," CBS College Basketball insider Jeff Goodman said. "It's so rare in college basketball today to have a guy like Phil who just makes everyone better."
