JEFFERSON CITY — Another national Republican leader is coming to campaign in Missouri for GOP attorney general candidate Ed Martin.

Martin's campaign said U.S. Sen. Rand Paul will attend events in Springfield and Cape Girardeau on Oct. 29. Paul is a Republican from Kentucky and the son of former GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Martin, of St. Louis, has been critical of numerous government regulations during his campaign. Martin was the chief of staff to former Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt and is challenging the re-election bid of Democratic Attorney General Chris Koster.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio also have campaigned for Martin.
