Missouri State Parks to host Katy Trail meeting in Hartsburg

COLUMBIA—Missouri State Parks will host an informational meeting from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Katy Trail State Park depot in Hartsburg.

At the meeting, park officials will discuss issues related to the Portland-Boonville section of the Katy Trail, such as the 13th annual Katy Trail Ride, scheduled for June 2013.

Park Superintendent Jim Gast said the main purpose of the meeting is to gather suggestions and critiques from community members about park programs.
